PROBABLY ART – a curated collection of seven 1of1 artworks. You can find the artworks by clicking on the "Works" button above.
* It's only playable on the desktop in a browser. (For the best experience, it’s recommended to use Chrome.) When you click on "Play on Itch.io" above, you'll be redirected to Itch.io, a leading indie gaming platform where the game is hosted. It can be played with both a keyboard and a controller. It's an opportunity for you to disconnect for a few minutes, so please find the right moment to fully immerse yourself. Enjoy!
About The Project
A video game, a virtual art exhibition, a strange experience - it's hard to give it a clear description. Perhaps that’s the reason behind the name of the project, as it feels like the most fitting way to capture its essence: PROBABLY ART. It’s a project that asks the viewer to take their time, disconnect, and invites them to engage with digital art from an interactive perspective. Each artwork is not just displayed but framed within an experience that enhances its story. A digital frame for digital art.
The idea for this project came from my frustration with how art is often consumed today, especially on social media. While artists create from an inner drive, art is not just for the creator - it’s meant to be shared and experienced by others. In our fast-moving world, where everything is reduced to the brief moment of a scroll, art is seen but rarely truly experienced. I wanted to create a space where art could be explored more slowly, inviting people to engage with it on a deeper level.
Probably Art is a passion project that has accompanied me for about a year. There were times when it felt like a friend, as I joyfully took the first steps in the world I created, and other times, the complete opposite, when I spent frustrating days chasing down a single bug.
But now, it’s finished, and ready for you to make your own first step into this world.
How To
In the game, you'll discover seven artworks in a playful way. These seven pieces are part of the collection I minted on Manifold. Clicking on the images will take you to a detail page where you can learn more about each piece. From there, starting December 3rd at 9:00 AM (PT), you’ll find a link to Manifold where you can explore further and place a bid if you’re interested.
